Benkelman Beam Apparatus

Automatic Benkelman Beam Apparatus is utilized to evaluate deflection or flexural strength of road or pavement under the load of moving vehicle wheels. Made of steel/light weight aluminum, this range of laboratory apparatus works on the principle of lever arm theory. As part of the mechanism of these apparatus, the beam is positioned between the tires of the vehicles that need to be tested in contact with road or pavement surface. Deflection is determined with the passing of vehicles over the space where testing is conducted. Automatic Benkelman Beam Apparatus has been designed to maintain high accuracy in testing.
